Areas of development with pathway lecturer
Upon talking to Steve, it has been great to develop my idea into a visual product in my mind. Speaking to Steve, I pitched him the idea of marketing a mock up app called 'Snapthat', which he was all for thanks to my well thought out ideas and being able to convoy these to him. One piece of advice Steve did give was to use the software Adobe XD, in doing this he said that it should make my design process easier when considering the layout of the app itself, although the app itself will not function (which was never my intention anyway) it will give clear visuals showing my own intentions. Another process Steve and I have worked on together was creating myself a reliable time table for me to come back to and work around, the time scale is simple to follow and I am sure I can stick to it, there is two weeks left at the end of the time table for me to work on any excess work that may be needed or finishing up before our projects are due, which is a good thing. I also considered taking up other pathway ideas, weighing up the pros and cons with Steve was really beneficial in terms of what he thought would be most challenging but rewarding for me, suggesting some of my other ideas such as creating a marketing campaign for an existing brand or rebranding them didn't really sell to me or Steve as I have done similar ideas over this year. Confirming the approval of my idea of 'Snapthat' from Steve, it has given me the motivation to pursue this idea further and really give my finale project the best I can.
