Evaluation of Animations

For me, using the software Adobe Animate was an uphill battle to begin with but after getting my bearings with the program I found myself really beginning to enjoy working with it and creating work. As time progressed, the program became tedious however I was building up on my skills, as this is my first time using Adobe Animate I was quite overwhelmed to begin with however on reflection I now believe I have the basic skills to create an animation. Patiences is key with any animation process and Animate is no different due to the frame by frame re drawings needed most of the time. Next time I would really like to take my time developing on my basic knowledge, exploring their capabilities further to create small animations that are effective with a smooth flow from one frame to the next which i believe, i managed to improve on as time went on yet i would like to work on it further.

Next time i would also like to pay more attention to detail when it comes to the creations In my animations as i believe that this builds up characteristics, if the characters nose is one way or its specific colour stands out the animation seems more effective, If I had done this from the beginning I feel that this would have given me the foundations to create animations I would feel proud of as I believe that more care should have also been taking during each animation creation as In comparison to others work, I feel that mine is sloppy and not a good reflection of my capabilities on Animate. Discovering tools such as the bone tool and motion tween tool really helped to develop my understanding and in doing so encouraged my confidence with Animate too, however I still struggled as a beginner with the program. On reflection of my animations if I were to improve I would add more depth to my animations such as background as this can be just as effective when it comes to the impact an animation gives.

Overall, however I am pleased with the outcome of the majority of my work. I felt quite thrown in the deep end towards the start but am now confident with my capabilities as I believe that on reflection to be thrown in the deep in and told to get on with it is the best way to learn Animate.

Enjoy two animations created by me, here;
